Search engines have to score documents for relevance. Now, I could study Information Retrieval Science and understand the basic principles of scoring documents but that won’t tell me much about why a specific document ranks well in search results. Links don’t just influence search results. Evaluate. Adjust.)

Believe it or not, new people join the search marketing world every day. While I don’t agree 100% with everything included here - like the idea of dismissing the use of keywords in the domain and the necessity of submitting the site to search engines manually - I love the emphasis that Brett puts on creating quality content regularly.
