Great summary Aaron. intuitively knew what you said about the various percentages for quite some time, and have slowly been building towards the competitive keywords pie chart, while recognizing all my current traffic is based off of the long-tail keywords chart. You will recognize this by lower traffic and lower sales. Aaron Wall (SEObook) has a great article about this filter , so if your site was hit by this filter I recommend you to read this. also like to speed on the highway when no other traffic is there, but still can lose my license for that. It started somewhere in 2006.
