One of the value propositions for Browse My Stuff is that it organizes content in a way that should be good to help long tail SEO ( search engine optimization ). When we were in the process of designing Browse My Stuff, I had a hard time finding good resources on how to go about long tail SEO. I’m still constantly looking.

To give you an example, the publication date of this article is February 25, 2008 (it’s mentioned on the web-page), the discovery date (when Google first crawled that page) is also Feb 25, 2008 but the cache date, or the day when Googlebot last crawled that page, is April 20, 3009 . Evri , currently in beta, splits its contents into two main sections: one showing your current topic or collections and the other splitting the content into different types such as articles, images, videos, I remember when Dave Winer introduced Really Simple Syndication (RSS) in Radio Userland way back in 2001.

Chris Ahearn, President of Media at Thomson Reuters, recently published an article on how journalism can survive in the Internet age. There was evidence that wikiHow's model is producing better content than its Demand Media counterpart for how-to articles, eHow. More worrying though is that Demand Media is producing thousands of these types of articles a day.
I've been writing a lot about so-called 'content farms' in recent months - companies like Demand Media and Answers.com which create thousands of pieces of content per day and are making a big impact on the Web.
