The home page receives a lot of good links (and PageRank) because people like the site. Most of these links use the word widget or widgets. We title the home page "Widget World, we have Widgets" to capitalise on those links and their link text; we also use the words widget and widgets in the page. Make sense?

When your search results come from lots of places! So, Ive started SEOing for the term "Widgets" but it turns out all my google traffic is coming from the individual searches - people searching for "Bobs Widget" or "Freds Widgorama" I have around 150 pages on individual widgets. Any hints?

That move involves change in on-page optimization, so I am thinking, since there are changes about to be done on the site, why not throw in nofollowing of the majority of navigation links, according to the recipe - link love flows from homepage to all the inner pages and from inner pages only to homepage and pages I want ranked. or No.
