RSS Marketing takes a look at SecondLife
I've often talk about the similarities between learning and marketing. I have a handful of marketing related RSS feeds that browse periodically. One of them is RSS Marketing . The author Roy Hrastnik finally took the dive into Secondlife in search of marketing goodness in the virtual world. His posts are great lists of the corporate activities going in Secondlife: Second Life 1: Does Second Life Hold "Real" Marketing Value? Second Life 2: How Can Marketers Take Advantage?

Will Blogs, Wikis, RSS, Mashups be Used in Corporate eLearning?
I saw another post from Dave Boggs, Has The Blogging Trend Begun To Fade, Even Before It Ever Got Started In Corporate Training / e-Learning Environments? In this post, Dave unfortunately lumps together blogs, wikis, mashups, rss feed together (probably because eLearning 2.0 and web 2.0 often lump them together). However, I think the answer about adoption rates is going to be quite different for these things with Wikis and Mashups being adopted at a very high rate. Google Blog Search Problems
I rely pretty heavily on Google Blog Search to help me find people who are citing blog posts of mine so that I can see that kind of conversation. Unfortunately, it looks like Google Blog Search has decided that they will now include the entire contents of the web page rather than just the contents of the RSS feed. What this means is that I now get links to every post where the author includes my blog in their blog roll. This completely defeats my purpose. I want a nice clean RSS feed of any posts that include links to my various sites. I can't tell if this is something that ...

Create Mobile Websites with Wirenode
I’ve previously written about Winksite, a service that allows users to create free mobile websites using a CMS-like interface (simply switching on or off various tools and editing options). Different ways of looking at it
Don’t tell anybody, because some people see me as a champion of this stuff, but the standard formats for reading RSS feeds bore me silly. Bloglines drove me nuts: you couldn’t even change the garish colors. Google Reader is the best I’ve found but even that becomes monotonous. So I rotate feed readers. One of my favorites, especially if I’m in a hurry is a cloud view of learning sites. Other times I look at a river of the same feeds. And ... been churning out lots of interesting stuff: newsletters, blogs, author interviews, and these podcasts. What’s ...
