2008 2009
Wednesday, December 3, 2008
... input to form it across a broader conversation. I'm very excited with where this is going. Mobile Learning and Games Starting 2008, one of my more controversial predictions was around mobile learning - 2008 #5 => Mobile Learning - Continued Scattered Examples and Disappointment This is going to be another somewhat disappointing year for mobile learning. While the iPhone and other mobile devices continue to proliferate and while the amount of web access via mobile devices will continue to grow rapidly (now approaching 20%), mobile learning solutions will continue to find adoption ...

mobile success
Great, the first tests with publishing course movies that are deliverable through itunes for mobile devices have been a succes. If more feedback comes in, we can start redesigning more of the courses into mobile content. We even linked the courses to our soon-to-become-official ITM vodcast blog . So that depending on the device (mobile, computer ...) you have, you get the information delivered. The editing of the ITM movie was fun, but I still need to get information as to the copyright. It is nice if something comes together. used soft- and hardware: digital camera (different ...

Just stumbled on an interesting mobile platform: www.redhalo.com , I will be testing this platform in the next couple of weeks. Looks easy and nice. JotYou - Location Based SMS mobile eLearning
This new little web app is very cool. You set up an SMS to be sent when the recipient enters a certain location area. Of course you define the area and who will get the msg when they enter that area. I love this stuff! That's probably why I like the idea of QR codes too. I can think of a lot things to do with it and they list some of them on their site . But how about welcome msgs for new hires when they get on your corporate campus. I'll let them explain how jotyou works . Or you could just watch their video demo below.
