I've been told recently that one of the things that people like most about my blog is the cool new tools I find and share with the eLearnDev community. Well, here's the motherload of all developer tool lists compliments of Mashable.com . It's going to take me weeks to get through this list, but I'm glad its there when I need to look for this kind of stuff. I've already found some seriously cool nuggets that I'm hoping will be as cool as they look. Let me know if you find something cool and use it for an elearning project. Enjoy!

Just as I was looking into purchasing Camtasia Studio by Tech Smith I came across a blog posting on Tony Karrer's eLearning Technology blog just in the nick of time. Tony posted links to free downloads of Snag It and Camtasia. I have been a long time user of Snag It and love it for screen shots. It is very handy for creating software training materials. Much of my professional time is spent in the throes of software implementation. Michael Krigsman has an entire blog filled with sadly funny examples of software project failures called Rearranging the Deck Chairs .
