SCORM and Bandwidth
... culprit could be how I have the SCORM settings set. The reason I believe SCORM tracking may be the culprit is because I have had nothing but success with flash based eLearning courses that do not use any kind of SCORM tracking. The only difference here is that I am using a zipped SCORM package as opposed to a standard .swf file. I am going to start by trying some different SCORM settings and run a few more tests. I am currently recording all interactions so I am hoping ...

OK...so this is the kind of innovation I'm looking for in the learning industry...
... found via TechCrunch )
On one level, SonicSwap is a service that makes use of YouTube's API to allow users to upload their iTunes playlists and play songs and videos via YouTube's API. But now all that good brain fertilizer from the SCORM 2.0 workshop has me thinking....so we build this platform...YouTube for learning...and then we publish the API and people can use the platform and can assign rights using the platform...and others can pull objects thru the API via the platform...now I haven't gotten the iTunes piece figured out yet....but I'd love to see more innovation ...

LETSI/SCORM 2.0 Wrap Up and Thanks!
So I spent most of last week at the LETSI / SCORM 2.0 Workshop in Pensacola, FL. I used CoverItLive to do a ... I did want to be sure and point out that the workshop developed and is currently refining about 30 use cases for SCORM 2.0 . This is in addition to the 100+ white papers that have been written and submitted to LETSI on SCORM 2.0 topics.
All that tells me is that there is considerable intellectual firepower being directed at this issue of what SCORM ... , blogs, etc.
I will say this...whether or not LETSI or SCORM 2.0 succeeds or not - it will not be because it lacks ...

Captivate and Moodle play well with others
I finished up my first project developed with Captivate and decided to take the opportunity to dive into SCORM with Moodle. Until now, I have only experimented with moodle and have never had to worry about SCORM when publishing courses. We are now taking our eLearning programs to a larger scale and Moodle will sure save us a lot of headaches as opposed to using MS Sharepoint as we have been doing. So, I decided to take the leap and try and figure out what this whole SCORM thing was about. At first I had a hard time finding specific instructions of how to make a SCORM class work in ...
